If you haven't seen this movie, you MUST. 

It's another Saturday night, and my youngest is in bed. My husband rented this movie and asked me if I wanted to watch it with him. I didn't remember the previews of it. I mean I rarely watch tv anymore. So to me it was just some action flick. I was moody(what's new) sitting on my computer not really in the mood to watch a movie. So my husband went downstairs and started to watch it by himself. I ended up going down, and figured if it interested me I'll watch it, if not I'll come back upstairs and read.

My husband informed me that this was based on true events. But while you watch it, for me anyways, I didn't really think of it like that. In my eyes it was just a movie. The beginning credits seem to be real life footage of real life soldiers in camp. Let me tell you, that shit is no joke. My first thought is there is no way I could that shit. It starts off with two soldiers running together, it's unclear as to why, they're clearly racing each other. Others are still asleep, some are communicating with their wives. You learn bits and pieces of them. You can tell their all tight. Four soldiers are being dropped into the desert and to travel to a village where this leader is stationed. Holy cow, it got intense. Quickly, it turned bad. I never seen a movie so realistic, it almost seemed like you were there(poorly because I don't think any civilian can really understand.) You watch these four soldiers trying to survive. To live. It's just so much. After speaking to friends, a lot of people(women mostly) couldn't watch it.

It was one of the best and saddest movies I've seen in a long time. It left me in awe of our every day soldiers. Seeing what these men went through, I honestly can understand why so many have issues when they come home. It's traumatizing.

What really did me in, and had the tears unleashed was the ending credits.

I highly suggest everyone take the time to watch this movie. If I was Mark Wahlberg, I'd be honored to have played this role. Just be aware, it's not for the light hearted. It's bloody, gory, and realistic.
